Spalletti Not Worried By 'Five Star' Milan

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti admits the showdown against Milan on Sunday will be difficult, but he is confident in his side's abilities.

The Giallorossi welcome Carlo Ancelotti's men this weekend, with the game touted as being a potential difference between a Champions League or UEFA Cup place come the climax of the season.

While Milan have all their mega stars available for the clash, Spalletti has a number of injury worries as Alberto Aquilani, Rodrigo Taddei and Daniele De Rossi are all looking doubtful.

Nevertheless, the coach is not fazed by the Rossoneri's galactico line up.

"Five star Milan? I don't know. We will be playing 11 players and I don't know how many stars we will face or who will win," Spalletti told Sky Sport 24. "Of course it will be a difficult game, they have an excellent team and plenty of quality, both from set pieces and open play.

"However, I always give great value to my group. I am relaxed and I have always had faith in this club, even when things haven't gone well."

David Beckham could make his Serie A debut against Roma and Spalletti is full of praise for the Englishman.

"If we value his [Beckham's] qualities then he is a great champion, but we have to see his condition on Sunday," added Spalletti.
